C.S. McCrossan constructed a 170' long prefabricated pedestrian bridge with a concrete switchback ramp approach on the west side and a concrete helical ramp approach on the east side. Over a quarter of a mile of ornamental railing was used on the bridge. Architectural concrete was used to simulate ashlar stone veneer on all the substructure elements. Vibration monitoring ensured local businesses were not subjected to excessive levels on vibration during pile driving and other construction operations.
The project was completed on time and on budget.
